SONOLGREASE SERIES

Description
Sonolgrease is a series of greases for vehicle chassis, made of high viscosity
index mineral base oil and lithium thickener. These greases contain a special
additive to enhance adhesion to metal surfaces.
Application
Sonolgrease greases are recommended for lubricating the chassis of private and
commercial vehicles.
SONOLGREASE NO. 2 is recommended for use in central lubrication systems at all
seasons, and for lubricating vehicle chassis in winter. Properties

SONOLGREASE MP-2
Description
Sonolgrease MP-2 is a multi-purpose grease for the automotive industry. It has an
additive package to prevent oxidation and rust. The grease is made from a base oil
of high viscosity index, and lithium soap.
Sonolgrease MP-2 has high stability to rolling and water washout.
Application
Sonolgrease MP-2 is recommended for lubrication of bearings and industrial
equipment, vehicle chassis, wheel bearings, drive couplings, universal joints, etc.
It is suitable for use in local and central lubricating systems which call for a NLGI-2
grade grease.

Description
Cotton picker spindle grease is a semi-liquid grease made from base oil with
medium viscosity index, and lithium soap.
Application
Cotton picker spindle grease is meant for use on the artificial fingers of cotton
picking machines. It is recommended for use on the single-column and double-
column machines in use in Israel (John Deere, Massey-Ferguson).

SONOREX EP
Description
Sonorex EP is a series of greases made from a base oil of high viscosity and a lithium soap. Sonorex EP greases have an additives package for extra high pressure, and for oxidation and rust prevention. They are a light beige color. Application
In vehicles: Sonorex EP greases are recommended for lubrication of wheel
bearings, joints, drive couplings, and vehicle chassis, and also for central
lubrication.
In industry: Sonorex EP greases, which contain additives for extra high pressure,
are recommended to be used according to equipment manufacturer’s
recommendations. They are also intended for use in central lubrication systems.

Description
Grease based on lithium soap, containing Nanolube  (tungsten disulfide)* for extreme pressures, and additives to prevent rust and oxidation. Made from a high viscosity index mineral base oil. Application

SONOREX M
Description
Sonorex M is a multipurpose grease based on lithium soap, a mineral base oil with
a high viscosity index, and an additives package for prevention of corrosion and
enhancement of thermal stability. In addition, it contains 2.5% of molybdenum
disulphide powder base, to prevent wear in borderline lubrication cases and in the
presence of water.
Sonorex M is suited to a variety of uses in industry and in vehicles, in plain
(journal), ball-and roller bearings, especially at high vibration loads. It is effective in
preventing fretting corrosion.

SONOREX EPM-0
Description
Sonorex EPM-0 is a grease based on lithium soap, and a mineral oil with a high
viscosity index. The additives package includes additives for extreme pressures
(EP), additives to prevent oxidation and rust, and about 3% of molybdenum
disulfide, to reduce friction in situations of high load and slow motion.
The grease has a dark gray color.
Application
Mechanical engineering equipment: Sonorex EPM-0 is intended for lubrication
of excavating hammers with central lubricating systems.

In industry:
Sonorex EPM-0 is a grease which contains additives for extreme pressures; it
should be applied according to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions. It is also

Description
Sonolgrease Graphited no.3 is a grease based on calcium soap, containing 5%
finely dispersed graphite.
Application
Sonolgrease Graphited no. 3 is intended for lubrication of elevator cables, torque
shafts, underwater equipment, certain types of plain (journal) bearings, and other
applications which require the presence of graphite to reduce mechanical wear.

HIGH-TEMPERATURE GREASES
SONOLGREASE HI-TEMP
Description
Sonolgrease Hi-temp is an industrial grease with no drop point, based on a high-
viscosity mineral oil, with a high flash point and low volatility.
The grease contains bentonite, an improved clay, as an inorganic thickener. Application
Sonolgrease Hi-temp is recommended for the lubrication of plain (journal) and
roller bearings, working at medium to low speeds, at high loads and temperatures.
It is suited to systems operating continuously at temperatures up to 160ºC.
Exposure to temperatures greater than 160ºC is possible only for short periods of time. Properties

Application
Sonoplex 2 is intended for industrial systems, and for vehicle assemblies which
