Global Elimination of blinding

 Trachoma is an infectious

Materials & methods
In a cross-sectional study,454 persons
attending an ophthalmology campaign
covering 4 villages in Abshaway district, Al-
Fayoum governerate in 2007.
Complete ophthalmological examination &assessment were performed for any eye disease.

S:SURGERY
 Trichiasis was corrected by the
anterior lamellar recession .
 Picking up of post trachomatis
degeneration .
 Electrolysis for one or two lashes .

perform wod’ou 5 times daily.
 HENCE, we advised the community to take
care of their hygiene by regular
performance of wod’ou 5 times daily with
the assistance of soap if possible.
 The eye is a precious jewel &so
if you feel any discomfort wash
your hands &your eyes with
soap & clean water.
E:ENVIRONMENT
 The deteriorated infrastructure is
beyond the capability of personal
efforts to REconstruct.
